Happy Friday! I woke up still feeling VERY sore from my Jillian Michael’s workout two days ago. Her squats and lunges did a number on my legs! I’m hoping my legs feel better by tomorrow morning for my 12 mile run.
I tried a new yogurt this morning, and it was delicious! I found Chobani yogurt at Whole Foods after reading about it on several blogs and bought the peach flavor to try. It is an all natural greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom. I mixed it with organic granola and blueberries – yummy!
Recently I discovered the most amazing veggie burgers ever! Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burgers: “where you recognize all the ingredients”. Just my style! Listen to this amazing all natural ingredient list: carrots, onions, string beans, oat bran, soybeans, zucchini, peas, broccoli, corn, soy flakes, spinach, expeller pressed canola oil, red peppers, arrowroot, corn starch, garlic, corn meal, salt, parsley, black pepper. Wow! I toasted half a whole-wheat english muffin, topped it with a warmed veggie burger followed by a slice of organic cheddar, and then put it under the broiler for a couple of minutes. It was SO DELICIOUS!
Well, I’m off to do some runner’s yoga to hopefully loosen up my tight legs. Have a great start to the weekend!
